Alea concluded SBC Summit Lisbon after three days of industry debate, meetings, live content and activations, closing the week with an Employer of the Year (Supplier) win at the SBC Awards.
More than 30 members of the Alea team travelled to Lisbon for the summit, including much of the company’s leadership team, alongside representatives from across its commercial, partnerships, account management and marketing functions.
On the opening day, Alea also welcomed a number of prominent guests to Booth B213, including Carlos Moedas, Mayor of Lisbon; Maria Luísa Aldim, Deputy Mayor for Innovation and Social Development; Pedro Machado, Secretary of State for Tourism, Commerce and Services; Paulo Sousa, President of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa; Jorge Vinha da Silva, CEO of MEO Arena; Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC; and Vigen Badalyan, owner of BetConstruct.
Jordi Sendra, CEO of Alea said:
Lisbon has a permanent place in our calendar because it brings together so many of the markets that matter to us. This year, more than 30 people from across Alea attended, including much of our leadership team. We have launched a lot over the past months, from Alea Jackpot to our Sportsbook vertical, so having everyone in one place with clients and partners felt especially important. It gave us the chance to reconnect, share what we have been working on and understand where our partners want us to go next.
