All-in Global came back from SBC Summit Lisbon with CRAIG AI platform demos booked through November and into December, after three days of meetings that kept returning to two subjects: where AI translation adds most ROI and reduces the most risk, and what iGaming brands with heavy exposure to the Brazilian market’s disruption should be doing about it.

L-R - Gabriel Adão - Business Development Manager, Barb Tasci - CEO Luis Azevedo - Head of Sales Katerina Siriakova - Market Development Manager, Martin Calvert - Marketing Director.
The All-in Global team in Lisbon (29 September to 1 October) included CEO Barb Tasci, newly appointed Marketing Director Martin Calvert and the sales team of Luis Azevedo, Katerina Siriakova and Gab Adão, who spent the three days in meetings with existing clients and new partners.

SBC put attendance at around 40,000, its biggest Lisbon show so far and across dozens of meetings, the question the team heard most often was a version of “how much of a global translation project can AI realistically do now?”

CRAIG, All-in Global’s AI translation platform, lets companies localise at scale and at a price point that makes dozens of languages a practical possibility. It also takes on much of the work human translators aren’t best suited to: repetitive strings, high-volume updates and text buried in dense files of code, where a misplaced character can break a page or game.

Speaking privately, a leader at one game studio at the event told Martin that earlier this year they had watched a member of their internal localisation team literally fall asleep at their desk during a crunch QA session, ahead of a new game release.

Nobody was hurt, apart from possibly the linguist’s pride, but it illustrates a real problem in that hours of repetitive strings and game code wear talented linguists down, and tired linguists make crucial errors.

The CRAIG AI translation platform, built with iGaming in mind, frees experienced linguists and project managers up to focus on the tasks where their expertise and judgement matter, such as customer-facing copy, the user experience, refining cultural nuances, enhancing marketing copy, checking regulated content and final QA of an interactive product.

Martin Calvert, Marketing Director at All-in Global, said:

This was my first event working alongside my new colleagues at All-in Global, so that was a great experience in itself. It’s easy to forget that this is only the third SBC Summit in Lisbon.

It’s pretty incredible how much it has grown, but by the standards of these huge events it’s still set up so you can make your scheduled meetings on time and run into people you weren’t expecting to see.

Brazil and the Case for More Languages

The timing of the event made discussion of the market uncertainty in Brazil unavoidable. Four days before the show opened, President Lula signed a provisional measure banning online betting, and licensed sites and apps went offline on 6 October.

In an industry sector this competitive, depending on one or two markets leaves very little room for manoeuvre when a government or regulatory body changes its mind.

That is where CRAIG frequently came into discussions at SBC as brands look to de-risk their operations, expand more quickly into existing markets and consider wholly new launches.

All-in Global works most frequently with operators and affiliates who localise into dozens of languages with clear customer-engagement, UX and SEO targets for each market, and with game studios and platforms whose main aim is for their products to be understood and liked by customers globally.

Barb Tasci, CEO of All-in Global, said:

Lisbon gave me a great chance to compare experiences with leaders running other technology-focused companies. The right technology can now do a huge amount of the heavy lifting, and the companies getting most out of it are the ones that have thought hard about the people and processes around it.

We work with linguists and project managers all over the world, plenty of whom have been with us for years, and their expertise is a large part of why CRAIG works as well as it does.

Plans for 2027

All-in Global isn’t done with 2026, but plans for 2027 are already well under way. The technical team is adding ten languages to CRAIG, taking it to 60, and working on direct integration within white label platforms so clients can translate without leaving the systems they already use.

New packages are also on the way for customers who want copywriting and content alongside translation.

Next year also brings milestone work anniversaries for several of the company’s expert project managers and linguists. All-in Global was founded in 2008, and a good deal of its near two decades of experience sits with people who have been around for much of that time.

With Lisbon done, the next stop is SiGMA World in Rome, which runs from 2 to 5 November at Fiera Roma. The All-in Global team will be well represented, and clients, friends and partners can find them at stand H1-1011. To book a meeting or arrange a bespoke CRAIG demo, visit mycraig.ai.
