SiGMA World Brings Star Power to Rome

The presence of sport at SiGMA World 2026 is about to be felt, as world champions, international football stars and distinguished figures in the sport are expected to attend the event at Fiera Roma.

Marco Materazzi, a former Italian national team player and 2006 FIFA World Cup winner, is one of the football personalities invited to this summit. He used to play for Inter Milan and contributed to the national team’s World Cup win, the name of which is familiar to everybody.

Another notable personality is Javier Zanetti, the captain of Inter Milan and a member of the Argentine national football team, who is famous for his long-lasting career at the peak of world football.

Among the guests is a well-known French forward, Djibril Cissé, who has played in many European football leagues. Apart from starring at Liverpool, Marseille and other clubs, he has also participated in international competitions.

Combat sports will be pivotal in welcoming Francis Ngannou, a UFC heavyweight champion and a Solid Icon ambassador. Having become internationally known in MMA, Ngannou has transitioned to boxing, becoming a household name in heavyweight boxing. He is expected to be seen at Fiera Roma on the 3rd and 4th of November from 1 PM to 4 PM.

Merab Dvalishvili from Georgia is another strong combat sports warrior who has made headlines in his own right. He is known for his relentless fighting style, which includes wrestling.

Finalising the list of athletes, we have Giancarlo Fisichella, who is an Italian driver. The Italian won the Grand Prix three times during his career; thus, his participation will further develop the event.

Together, these figures span football, mixed martial arts and Formula One, reflecting the broad appeal of professional sport and its connections with global audiences, commercial partnerships and international business.

Beyond sport, SiGMA World 2026 will bring together entrepreneurs whose work has influenced investment, cryptocurrency and luxury retail.

Tim Draper, the American venture capitalist and founder of Draper Associates, is known for investing in technology companies and supporting entrepreneurs working across emerging sectors. His investment portfolio and advocacy for innovation have made him a recognised figure in the international venture capital community.

Charlie Lee represents the cryptocurrency space. Launched in 2011, Litecoin became one of the first currencies in the market, providing an alternative payment system to Bitcoin. Lee has proven to be a well-known name in the development of blockchain technology.

Also among the entrepreneurs is Jacob Arabo, founder of the luxury jewellery and watch brand Jacob & Co. Known for elaborate designs and high-profile collaborations, Arabo has built an internationally recognised luxury business with a presence across jewellery, watches and entertainment.

Their respective careers span venture capital, digital assets and luxury goods, offering different perspectives on entrepreneurship, brand development and the commercial opportunities emerging across international markets.

AGS also features speakers with profiles extending beyond traditional performance marketing. Jeannie Mai, the Emmy Award-winning American television personality known for co-hosting The Real, appears on the AGS speaker roster as CEO of HelpGrid. Her background in television and media adds an entertainment perspective to a programme focused on audience engagement and business growth.

Dr Sara Al Madani, an Emirati entrepreneur, investor and public speaker, brings experience from business and entrepreneurship across multiple industries. Her work connects the conference’s commercial focus with broader discussions around leadership, technology and the relationship between brands and audiences.

The AGS program includes individuals from some of the most well-known social media companies, such as TikTok and Snapchat. Their involvement underscores the importance of digital advertising, creator-led discovery, audience acquisition, and other key affiliate marketing issues, giving participants a chance to learn about platforms and methods essential to online commerce.

With sporting personalities, entrepreneurs and established voices from entertainment and technology connected with the Rome edition, SiGMA World 2026 will bring together a broad cross-section of international business and popular culture.
