Barcelona, January 2026 – Alea closed ICE Barcelona 2026 with a week marked by product development and industry recognition, as the event returned to the company’s home city.

The week began with Alea being named Game Aggregator of the Year at the International Gaming Awards 2026, recognising the company’s work in delivering  scalable aggregation solutions focused on performance, operational control, and long-term reliability for operators.

At ICE, Alea officially unveiled its Jackpot Engine, expanding its product offering with a solution that enables operators to manage real-time, multi-level jackpots across any game portfolio. The tool includes a built-in simulator, allowing operators to model jackpot behaviour and performance before launch. The Jackpot Engine was showcased live at the Alea stand, offering attendees a practical view of how the solution integrates into existing operations.

More than 40 members of the Alea team attended ICE Barcelona, including Founder Alexandre Tomic, Founder & CPO Charlotte Lecompte, CEO Jordi Sendra, COO Ramon Glieneke, CTO Eduard Fumàs, and CFO Juan Carlos Rovira, alongside senior leaders from across the organisation. Alea also brought elements of its internal culture to the show floor, including an oxygen bar, a hyperbaric chamber, and a replica of the Alea goddess statue displayed at the company’s headquarters, reflecting the values and principles that guide the team’s work.

The company played an active role in the ICE conference programme, with Alexandre Tomic contributing to a keynote, panel discussion, and fireside chat. The sessions covered key trends for the industry, including regulation, market growth, and new product formats.

“ICE confirms patterns more than it creates them,” said Alexandre Tomic, Founder of Alea. “Emerging markets, tighter regulation, and new formats like prediction markets in the US have been shaping our roadmap for some time. What’s changed is the pace. 2026 is about execution, and Alea will lead the way.”

To mark the occasion, Alea hosted an exclusive gala dinner at the Palau de la Música Catalana, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Barcelona’s most iconic cultural venues. The evening concluded with a live flamenco performance, offering guests a connection to the city where Alea was founded.

ICE Barcelona also reinforced Alea’s broader product roadmap, following the launch of Alea Pay at ICE 2025, as the company continues to extend its aggregation offering.

Following ICE, Alea is preparing for upcoming events, including SBC Summit Rio, SiGMA Africa, and Next.io New York, continuing its focus on emerging markets and sustainable platform growth.
