Primero Games has acquired the Gaming Division of Win Systems, adding slot products, the Gold Club electronic-roulette business and an installed footprint across Latin America and the Caribbean. The transaction expands Primero beyond its established US operations by combining its content and platform capabilities with Win Systems Gaming’s manufacturing infrastructure and regional customer base.

The deal does not cover the whole of Win Systems. The seller will continue operating its remaining businesses, including its casino-management technology activities. Financial terms were not disclosed in either company’s official announcement.

According to the official Win Systems announcement, the acquired business has more than 3,000 installed gaming positions in Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Puerto Rico and Panama. The figure is company-supplied and describes the installed base in those five territories, while the division also serves customers in other markets.

This footprint gives Primero immediate access to operating relationships, local market knowledge and physical distribution. The strategy differs from entering each jurisdiction through separate commercial launches. It resembles wider acquisition-led expansion into new markets, where an existing local network can provide operational scale alongside technology and products.

The regional dimension also places the deal within a broader pattern of international growth through gaming M&A. For B2B suppliers, established installations and customer relationships can be as strategically important as intellectual property because they shorten the route from product development to commercial deployment.

Primero Adds Products, Production, and Omnichannel Reach

Primero’s portfolio already includes gaming content, online solutions, redemption kiosks and the Hurricane omnichannel platform. Hurricane supports offline and online deployment as well as single-game and multi-game applications. Its Spark server-based solution adds business intelligence, progressive jackpots, content subscriptions, and player-marketing tools.

The acquired division contributes slots, Gold Club electronic roulettes, manufacturing operations, and regional servicing capacity. This combination gives Primero control over more of the product chain, from game development and platform delivery to physical production and installed operations.

The Primero acquisition announcement also states that existing customers will continue to receive support as new Primero content and technology are introduced.

That implementation phase will determine whether the combined assets generate the intended commercial value. Previous sector deals have shown why technology integration following acquisitions requires disciplined product decisions rather than simply placing two portfolios together.

Win Systems Retains Its Casino-Management Focus

Win Systems remains an operating gaming-technology company after the sale. Its continuing activities include casino-management systems used by operators across multiple international markets. Describing the transaction as a full takeover of Win Systems would therefore misstate its scope.

For Primero, the acquisition adds both land-based and digital capabilities. That mix reflects the industry’s continuing transition from land-based gaming to online development, while recognising that cabinets, electronic roulettes, manufacturing, and on-site infrastructure remain commercially important.

The immediate priority will be continuity for customers using WSG products and installations. Beyond that, Primero can distribute a broader content library through the acquired network, apply its platform technology across more markets, and use the combined development resources to support an international omnichannel pipeline. Commercial execution, however, will depend on careful integration and customer retention.
